South Hills Farm near Salisbury

Farm Visits

We welcome visiting groups of children all year round.  The following are activities that form part of a visit to our farm:

Visit and Feed the Animals

Meet and cuddle our rabbits and guinea pigs in Pets Corner. Visit our incubators and hold our newly hatched chicks & ducklings. Bottle feed the lambs & kids.

Playtime on the Field/Picnic Lunch

The half day programme ends with an outdoor free play session in which the children are free to explore the climbing frame and trampoline. Those staying for a full day can enjoy their lunch on the field (weather permitting), or undercover in our large barn.

Groom & Ride the Donkeys & Ponies

Split into smaller groups, the children will have the opportunity to groom the animals and to help tack them up for a ride!

Woodland Walk

The full day programme ends with a visit to one of our Forest School Base Camps. The children can explore the woods, build dens and even have a go at climbing some trees.

Please note that some our activities are dependent on the time of year and our breeding calendar. For the best experience, we advise that you visit us between February half term and the Summer Holidays. Please contact the setting to discuss further.

It would give us great pleasure to share the experience of our exceptional environment with you.
